The path I chose created a high-risk environment with mounting pressure to succeed. On the other side, I learned a valuable lesson. I peered around the curtain and saw hundreds of faces waiting. It was difficult to decipher just how many, with the bright stage lights obscuring my view. There was a knot in my chest, and that inner voice once again reappeared: “This is what you wanted. This is what you’ve worked towards.”
It was that rare combination of nervousness, excitement, and vulnerability flowing through my consciousness. Would I rhyme off beat? Could I galvanize this crowd?
Not long before that when I announcedto my friends and family that I would be launching my own independent music label, First Class Records, many were skeptical. It was 2010, and with everyone still recovering from the financial crisis, most thought I was crazy for giving up a solid career. It didn’t matter because I had a vision and was determined to see it through. Vocalized skepticism only added fuel to my fire and propelled me further down this path.
After the initial doubts were aired, everyone could see the determination in my eyes as I went all in as a full-time musician. That night behind the curtain, I waited to walk onstage to perform in front of my biggest audience to date. I ascended with my heart pumping so hard I could feel the pressure, but once I was up there, the pressure was replaced by something else, adrenaline. I went up on that stage and rocked it! There were friends and acquaintances in that audience I hadn’t seen in over a decade. They all turned out to support me.
Under that spotlight, I realized I could practice, practice, practice, but eventually, I had to get up on that stage with no hesitation and bring the same energy that I wanted back. This is when the planning is over, and showtime begins!
Over the course of two years, I performed nearly 40 shows as a full-time hip hop artist. I recorded and released a full-length album titled Moving in New Directions (M.I.N.D.) as well as music videos. I performed at The House of Blues and Yost Theater in front of 1,000 people. Through it all, I met so many wonderful people and remain friends with many of them to this day.
In the end, I accomplished everything I set out to do. I knew from the beginning that I wouldn’t be a professional musician forever. In 2012, after a six-month arts program in Israel, I returned to the world of real estate—my other passion. Prior to my musical debut, I worked for seven years in corporate real estate as a title rep and grew up with a family deeply involved in the real estate industry. I always knew I wanted to pursue it myself. Over time, I realized my passion lay in working directly with clients as a real estate agent. Real estate is my lifelong passion, just as much as music is. I became a licensed REALTOR® and broker in 2012.
In 2021, I married the love of my life, Dana. In May 2022, we welcomed our son, Yanai, into the world, and in 2024 we welcomed our daughter, Ella. I enjoy spending time with my family, my high-spirited, high-flying, supremely fun German Shorthaired Pointer dog, Rocky, traveling the world, playing basketball and golf, and being outdoors.
My favorite part of my profession is using my experience and expertise to help others prepare and adapt their situations to accomplish their goals through real estate.
Real estate isn’t about a one-time purchase—it’s an investment. Whether you’re buying your first home or your tenth investment property, it has the ability to propel you closer to achieving your financial goals and freedom. That’s why I always take the time to get to know my clients and their goals, both short- and long-term.
I do everything within my power, using my skills and experience, to help my clients reach their goals. I’m always direct and never sugarcoat reality for the simple reason that my clients deserve the best. They will always get transparency about whether a property is likely to be a good investment or a bad one.
It’s important to me that every transaction brings you closer to the life you imagine for yourself. I’ll always be there to support you in the years to come as your lifelong REALTOR®.
